Hi! My name is Nessa Livingston and I was born and raised in Anchorage, Alaska. I was that nerdy kid who declared my future occupation in elementary school and stuck with it all the way through receiving my doctorate in 2010. Since graduating Southern California College of Optometry, I have thoroughly enjoyed being eye and vision problem solver, first practicing in the greater Seattle area, and eventually finding my way to the Treasure Valley. I absolutely love general eye care and have a particular interest in dry eye disease and myopia control (slowing the progression of nearsightedness). My favorite part of being an optometrist is the relationships I get to build with my patients and their families. It is truly rewarding to be able to help my patients look and see their very best while continuing to preserve their vision for years to come. When not at the office, I’m usually rocking a yoga pant/hoodie combo and chasing around my three young boys. I’m an avid coffee lover, endless multitasker, and amateur mixologist. I also have an amazingly supportive husband who is a huge part of the practice behind the scenes.
